About the Author

I’m a former teacher turned writer. The Birds in Blue Skye is my debut novel. I live with my husband and kids and very spoiled dogs outside of Los Angeles. You can find us hiking, on the beach, or searching for the perfect taco.

I grew up in Ohio where my story is set. Ohio is an interesting place. It’s full of people who have been there for generations like my family. At one point, my mother’s entire family lived in the same six block area surrounding the Catholic Church. She couldn’t walk down the street without being seen by several aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins.

This is the world of THE BIRDS IN BLUE SKYE, where your relationships echo across generations.
